Suncoast Dixieland Jazz Classic
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA 2009;
Dixieland Jazz lovers mark
your calendars for the 19th annual Suncoast Dixieland Jazz Classic happening
November 20th through 23rd, 2009 at The Sheraton Sand Key Resort and the
Marriott Suites on Sand Key in Clearwater Florida. Additional guest rooms will
be available at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites.
A spectacular
weekend of vibrant music and fun; it's the largest Festival of its kind on the
East Coast. This prestigious festival
will feature 20 Bands and Special Guests
from all over the United States and Canada to entertain you from morning to
night. Bring your parasols and put on
your dancing shoes! Enjoy the best of New Orleans Jazz, Swing, Ragtime, a
Banjorama and jazz spanning the early days of music in New Orleans and Chicago
through the swing era. If you don't know how to swing dance, we'll teach you. Or
you can enjoy the Ragtime Piano sessions or the washboards. There is something
for everyone to enjoy.
Weekend Badges or
Daily Badges are available. Badges(tickets) for all three days are $100. Friday and Sunday Badges are $40 each day and
Saturday's Badges are $50 for the entire day.
Of particular note are Youth Badges at $10 a day. This is a wonderful
opportunity to lift the spirits of those around you. Please contact our office

The Dixieland Jazz
Classic is a non-profit organization whose ultimate mission is to provide
opportunities for local youth to study and perform traditional jazz. The Jazz
Classic awards yearly youth scholarships, independently and through the Suncoast
Jazz Society, also a non-profit organization with the same mission.

parking at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort parking lot adjacent to the Sand Key
resort; in addition, shuttles will run between this parking lot and all three
hotels.
